We Remember will be taking place at various places in Montgomery, AL with our base camp being at Gunter Hill Campground.
Participants must be able to travel to and from Gunter Hill Campground and also have transportation to and from The National Memorial for Peace and Justice and The Legacy Museum: From Slavery to Mass Incarceration. We will help facilitate shared rides for participants during our participant calls. Participants must be at Gunter Hill Campground at 12PM for orientation.
Below is a list of the gear you will need to help ensure a safe and fun camp. Because you may have access to the car you will be traveling in, you can bring larger gear, however, we ask that you bring smaller gear to actually practice with the size gear you would use for hiking or bike touring. If you have gear that you can lend or are in need of gear, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Tent footprint (optional)
LED headlamp with extra batteries
Hammock, camp or folding chair, or something you can sit in
Camp lantern or candles(optional)
Plate/bowl, cup, and cutlery
CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
